Jacksonville Parks & Recreation wants to get into the Christmas spirit by hosting the 66th Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 2, 2023. This parade features plenty of decoated floats and the featured guest, Santa, along with marching bands, floats, dance groups, and the Jacksonville Fire Department.

This Fourth of July event celebrates Independence Day with a bang. Bring lawn chairs and blankets and watch fireworks burst over the open shooting range. 

Each spring, citizens of Jacksonville gather at the Jacksonville Museum of Military History for a community-wide remembrance ceremony to honor Vietnam War veterans by giving them the welcome home ceremony they deserved.
